Tobins, West Waterford – New Build
This was a new build project for a five-bedroom detached two-story house 260m², where we supplied and installed a Mitsubishi Ecodan Heat Pump, along with underfloor heating at ground and first floors levels. The system is controlled by individual Heatmiser thermostats in each room. The Heat Pump also provides hot water through a 200 ltr hot water cylinder with a maximum temperature of 55deg C. This ensures adequate hot water supply for showers and kitchen use as required.

Smiths, Ardmore – Retrofit
This installation was a retrofit project for a detached two-storey home 250m². The installation comprised of underfloor heating, heat pump, and solar PV. The underfloor heating runs throughout the home and is controlled by the Smart Heatmiser Control System. The heat pump provides the required heat through the underfloor pipework and will produce 200 litres 55ºC domestic hot water on demand 24 hours a day. Each room is individually controlled through the Heatmiser Control System ensuring the most efficient operation of the heat pump. The 3.3kw solar PV system helps to offset the electrical running costs of the heat pump system throughout the year, with an estimated overall saving of 30%.
